I just brought this truck home (7/1/2012) after having a new short block 6.0L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 Engine installed with warranty at 107,920 miles by North Texas (NTX) Performance Diesel in Lewisville, TX. I never raced this truck. The engine needed to be replaced because the tack welds on the reluctor ring (inside the engine block) failed and the ring broke loose. Believe it or not, it was cheaper (due to labor) to replace the entire engine rather than repair/replace the reluctor ring. The upgraded amp and speakers have been removed, but the crossover is still there (under the rear seat). The radio needs to be rewired so that it drives the factory speakers.
