Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1966 Ford Mustang coupe This is the history of the car: I have owned this car since 1994. I purchased the car in State College Pa. The previous owner purchased the car from his father who lived in Lancaster PA. I believe there was one more previous owner. I drove the car for 4 years as a daily driver except for during the winter months. I parked the car in a garage in 1998 while I was in college. The car has been in a garage ever since and has not seen the road since 98. The car was always a daily driver and has high miles. In 1994 I had the floor pans and front frame rails replaced. In 1997 the engine was overhauled and the cylinders were bored out .30 oversize. The engine has about 20000 miles on it since the overhaul. While the vehicle was in storage I drained the fuel tank and radiator. Several years ago I decided that I was going to start a full restoration on the car and started to take the car apart. I took out the windshield and was working on removing the front bumper when I got a bad cut on my hand. Long story short I never did any more work to it. I did have the engine running in 2009 when I started it up to move it. The car needs: The car needs some significant body repair. Most of the body work is in the rear. The rear quarter panels have rusted out and been repaired by one of the previous owners. That repair has since bubbled out. The rear frame rails and rear wheel wells could also use some work. There are other areas where the paint has bubbled out from rust and needs body work. There was some water that continued to get into the passenger compartment and I decided to throw the carpet away because it was mostly rotten from before the floor pans were replaced. The front shock towers are very solid and in very good condition. I have all the parts that belong to the car and they will go with the car when it is purchased. The car has factory installed air conditioning which worked well when I was driving the car. The reason I am selling it: I had all intentions of restoring this car myself, but after 14 years of doing nothing with it, I decided that it is time to sell it. I still have dreams of restoring it but reality is that I will never get to it and I am not willing to pay someone else to do it. My personal opinion is that the car is in relatively good condition and would be a great project. I have included basic photos of the car if anyone wants to see more specific photos of certain areas let me know and I will do my best to post them or email them to you.
