I present to you a beautifull 1973 classic, the 280c which runs strong and needs a good home. The car has been well maintained through the years and my wish is that it stays this way. This Mecedes-Benz Has : a rebuilt motor which runs like a dream, Transmission shifts very smooth and with no slips New A/C Pump cold as ICE 500 miles on New tires New Brake calipers On the Back and Recently serviced front brakes all are very sharp. The interior is in a beautifull condition matching the exterior flawlessly stock radio and speaker both work well chromes are super shiny and in good condition with no rust. Car has no title because my state only requires a bill of sale. I lifted the car up and I was surprised how well the car stood up to the 39 years of age. The floor neds some help, nothing has been done to coverup rust which is a big plus, No one messed around doing a crappy job or anything of that sort so the car when restored properly will have a maximum corrosion resistance. There is some rust on the front jack points as in any old mercedes and some surface area where the thin paint originally was, like around the driveshaft. This car is a keeper only I can not afford such a vechicle, but if i was to keep one of these this would be it because the chassy has not been messed with, its just in a good condition without coverups in the past. I have receips for recent repairs that add up to 1,180. These do not include the Ac compressor which was expensive I also see that wires and distributor cap have been done, coil was replaced, carburator is either new or rebuilt. Another words does not need engine or transmission work.
