Beautiful 1966 Mustang convertible. This is not a concurs show car, simply a very nice driver car. I have seen many cars in our local shows that are not as nice. It holds it's own and always draws a admiring crowd ! This is a great original car with a lot of options. Not the usual put together pile of parts you see out there today !! Things fit, shut and work properly. It's a very sold car that has worked it's way from it's original DSO in Atlanta Georgia through Virginia. It's a very well cared for car that's still sporting it's original rebuilt 289 drivetrain. When I added the 289 HIPO engine dress-up kit I had a look inside the heads...they are spankin clean inside with not a trace of sludge ! She runs and shifts perfectly, strong and smooth. She has a nice factory style dual exhaust. Just the right rumble ! There is a large folder with maintainace and new items that comes with the car. The drive train overhaul and paint are about 8 years old. The paint shows very well ! No checking, cracking, peeling, fading. No scratches, dents or damage. The candy apple red matches it's code. The complete interior and top are less than 4 years old and show perfectly. It looks even better than the pictures. the colors are washed out by the camera. [New seats-rugs-door panels-arm rests-dash pad-steering wheel-and more]. New factory dual exaust, new shocks and springs. New control arms, fuel pump, rebult carb and more ! The original A/C unit has also been rebuilt and works fine. It also has the very rare arm rest seat option. She's equipped very nicely with factory A/C, power disc brakes, power steering, power top, styled steel wheels with Goodyears. Also has a new highend Alpine CD player nicely installed. Frame rails, torque boxes, floors, spring perches, trunk...all solid. Tipical light minor surface rust you would find under any car. It would look great power washed and painted like many have done. It's a great car you that can drive and cruise tomorrow. The insurance appraisal was $32,000. It's priced very realisticly.
