Vehicle Detail

Hi you are looking at one of the most rare 1969 Porsche 911. This is an original 911 S. A California car, this is how the story go's, the original owner bought it in early 1969, then sold the car to the second owner that bought it in 1982 and then drove it for a little over a year, and he decided since it was so rare even in the year of 1982 why not restore it. The only thing he got to do was take the engine out and that was as far as he was able to get in the restoration due to his job which happened to be over seas. So since approximately the year of 1983 the car has been stored in a garage in California's high desert in one of the driest cities Lancaster California. That explains the solid structure that remains on this rare 911 S. The rear thermostat assembly is still intact, also still has the front oil cooler with hoses leading to the engine compartment all intact, comes with its original 4 deep dish early hearts alloy wheels, mesaurements of 15x6, still has all of its original S brakes all intact, also still has all of its original gage clusters as shown in pictures, all of the S moldings and trim still remain on the vehicle including its original Porsche 911 S emblems, electrical panel still intact, CD BOX in great condition still intact. The original color for the Porsche is irish green, the color that you see now on it was painted before the second owner purchased it, so in my opinion it was probably done some where in the mid 1970's. All of the interior is original and in great shape for being original that explains the history told by the second owner when he explained that the mileage on the Porsche was around 50,000 miles when he bought it and only drove it for a little over a year. So my opinion is that the car has originally only 60,000 miles. Judging by the condition of the structure and interior.  The person that i purchased the vehicle from, who happened to be the second owner, said that when he bought it he thought that it had its original engine in it. until this day we are still not 100 percent sure what is the engine that is currently going to go with it. It has mechanical fuel injection like an early 911 S engine would, the numbers on the engine block decode as a 1970 911 TE engine. How ever it is a early 911 engine, that does come with the car.  Although this car is minus its matching number engine, for it's history, and it's untouched original California 911 S body type it definitely has the potential of being a beautiful 1969 911 S with all of its original body panels. Such as doors, front fenders, hood, deck lid, and its original floors. This car has never been in any collisions, as shown in pictures you can see that its seams are nice and tight.  overall if you are looking for a 1969 Porsche 911 S to restore with all of its S options minus the engine, then this would definitely be the one for you. There are a lot of 911 S porsches out there, they don't have any of the S equipment such as oil coolers, S brakes, CD BOX, or even the electrical panel, this one has it all and is ready for the S engine. Or you can restore the 911 engine that comes with it either way its a win win situation.  The VIN number on this Porsche is 119300933.  I have the right to end auction at anytime, if you have any questions please call me at (818) 879-3764, david i don't have much time to answer e-mails. Serious bidders only, if you are not 100% sure that you want to buy this vehicle please do not bid, if you want to see the car before you bid that would be the best way instead of bidding and winning and deciding that you do not want to buy it anymore after you have already won the auction.  David Br>
