100% original 2 owner Texas Mercedes wagon in mint condition and collector/museum quality. Truly well maintained Mercedes Benz that has been garage kept. I am told the original owner and the Carfax confirms was Texas Weslyan University in Fort Worth was the original owner and the president of the University drove the vehicle for school busniess. He later purchased the car when he left the university. I am adding this as people are asking me if the paint is original? I have asked 3 car guys I know the same question and they could not say for sure. It is almost too good to be original but I'm not sure because of the history of the car and the low miles. I know a Mercedes shop owner, but he Hans and Alex are on vacation in Germany! The interior and exterior are almost flawless and the aluminum head 5 cylinder diesel runs like a top. Absolutely 100% rust free and it is difficult to find a blemish on this car. AC blows ice cold, cruise control works, and original 4 speaker Becker radio and cassette works perfect. All the electric windows go up and down smoothly and quickly and it has a huge manual sunroof. The original wheels and tires are in excellent condition with a few very minor blemishes. The engine compartment is immaculate the diesel purrs like a kitten. The dash, seats, headliner are perfect with only some carpet fading in the rear. Just passed Texas safety inspection and all lights and electronics work fine except the clock. In this case, you are getting exactly what you seen in the pictures with no surprises whatsoever. No squeaks, rattles or funny smells. Rarely used and garage kept the last 5 years by elderly owner. I have added the carfax to the bottom of the listing. This Benz has been recently serviced with fresh oil, transmission and AC serviced. For full disclosure the only blemishes I have found on the car are faded carpet, the power antenna and clock are not functional, the hinge for the rear hatch doesnt hold the hatch up, and a very small oil leak which is typical of these vehicles. There are no rear headrests and there is a blemish on the wood dash where there was possibly a sticker sometime ago. I have washed and waxed the car and there is no Armorall on the car whatsoever. In this case I can say in confidence that the pictures do not lie. The paint is as smooth as glass with no buff marks and only a couple very very small imperfections.
