Super Rare 1988 10th ANNIVERSARY Mazda RX7 with ** 87306 ** Original Miles, I have been told that there were 1300 of these made as well I was told that there were 1500 made, who knows, this car is what it is; and its 100% TEXTBOOK. This car is in super shape overall but needs a tad of TLC. I can't find anyone here who can work on it that I trust, that is where we now have moved. That being said lets cover what you will need to do to make this beautiful car 100%. *** Please do keep in mind that this car is now nearly 25 years old! So she is not like brand new, The paint is just beautiful and has a sweet gloss to it, it shows slight swirls from cleaning but overall the paint is very sweet. No rust issues other than whats noted below. This car has never been abused and has been adult owned from day one! It starts on the first shot out of the box every time. As this car is now nearly 25 years old, so you will not have to pay for plates in most states as its now a classic car, thus plates are FREE. The drivers side base of the seat has a few tears and will need to be replaced, thats really no big deal. You will also need a NEW - Exhaust system, it still has the factoy one! So its now nearly 25 years old and should be replaced. The fan switch has stoped working, thus you will need a person who is Competent to fix it, I had it done and it broke in 6 days, again there is no one here I trust to do anything. There is also one {{very small}} rust spot at the lower gas tank outer door area this again is no big deal. Well -- thats about it. Now here are some of the things that have been done to this beautiful rare car of what I have about 85% of the records for from over the last 25 years of ownership. The tires are in super condition with about 3500 miles on them, or they are nearly new. The brake pads were replaced at 68K and they are super tight and will stop you on a dime. The Brake Master Cylinder is new. The Computer is new, the Spark Plugs are new Platinum tipped, the spark plug wires are new - when the plugs were changed. The Air filter has about 3500 miles on it, the inline gas filter has about 3500 miles on it. all the belts have about 3500 miles on them. The Oil has been changed every 2500 - 3000 miles, as well the trany oil changed every 5000 miles, The rear drive oil has been changed every 15000 miles. The tire's are rotated every 3000 miles and the ball joints lubed at that time, as well as all parts that need be. It has a new battery, all New Lights, - as in all bulbs were changed when one went out. All the hoses have about 3500 miles on them. It had a new starter at around 60K, A new Alternator at arond 76K. The air was charged about a year ago when the fan switch was fixed, but as I can't work the fan, please note above - I have no idea if the air charge is still valid. The sun roof has a new rubber seal around it, it also has ZERO rust - unlike many a Mazda from this time period. The doors have new rubber seals around them I replaced them at around 74K. The leather is in super condition other than the noted seat base on the drivers side, the rest of the interior is also in fine shape and has had leather cream applied with every cleaning, no funky smells from smoking etc. It has the special floor mats that came with it. saddly the glue that held the 10th Ann patched let go years ago, I still have one, you could reglue it or just keep it in the books that came with the car as I have done, saddly - the other was lost to time. I have both of the special 10th Ann keys as well all the Original books that came with it. ** It has no dents, or overt damage etc.** I had the windows done up with a dark tint, it can be removed with no hassel if you so wish. Otherwise this car is stock in all respects. This car has been Garage kept for most of its life, saddly - we don't have space anylonger, and thats also thats the other reason we are selling this car. It should be kept in a garage as its a classic. Just as an average this car has been driven around 3500 miles per year. There is much, much - more; need more intel?
