Only 408 Weissach limited edition models were produced and delivered to the United States. Half were painted Metallic Black, the other half in Platinum Metallic. The interior was full leather in Doric Grey with burgundy piping. This Porsche Weissach Special edition (option M439) was an immdeiate collector’s car when released in 1980 when nearly all 408 were sold before they were actually produced. This special edition came standard with the following options: Passenger door mirror, power windows, power sunroof and locks, fog lights below the front bumper, air conditioning, cruise control, flexible chin on the front air dam and whale tail rear spoiler. This two owner black metallic Weissach has only 49,000 miles and everything is original.
