Here's the Holy Grail of Volkswagen Bus, the Westfalia Camper. This is a complete 1967 SO42 poptop with all the camping equipment. This is a real barn find. Totally unmolested body. Under carriage is very solid. Stock engine runs well, good brakes with new master cylinder, shifts well. Carb needs a little cleaning as choke sticks a bit. Typical rust, but much better than most. Here's the bonus..... it comes with $4500 in new parts not yet installed!!!! About $1800 in new high quality heavy weight sheet metal including a complete rear bumper with over riders, about $1700 in new TMI upholstery as described, and about $700 in new rubber seals, about 99% of the rubber needed to replace everything, including new poptop canvas and rear bug screen. The new front seatcovers are TMI tan vinyl with beige tweed inserts and all new foam. The door panels match the seats, tan vinyl top and bottom with beige tweed in the center. Also comes with matching new front kick panels, side door panels and rear hatch panel. Rear cushions have original gold/tan vinyl covers and will need to be recovered, I can get matching vinyl or tweed for you from TMI for an additional charge. The previous owner wrote on the rear cushion covers with a black marker to label for the reupholstery shop, but he never got that far. The body is amazingly straight with a beautiful nose. Dash is uncut with 2 small screw holes from a radio. Far left hole in dash was modified a little for some reason. Side door handle broke yesterday, a new one from Wolfsburg West is $38. One jalousy piece of glass has a crack and one has been replaced with plexiglass. Headliner front and rear is original and in good condition. Right visor is missing. Original cabinets are in great shape. Comes with all of the original curtain rods and homemade curtains. Also included is a nice right front door and sliding window frame. All of the parts are from TMI, Wolfsburg West, West Coast Metric, Mid America Motorworks. You just don't find them like this anymore. I'm in the Atlanta area. You are welcome to come see the Bus in person. This Bus will be sold with a State of Georgia Bill Of Sale and the last Georgia registration. Georgia does not issue titles for pre 1985 vehicles.
