Up for sale is my 1983 Mercedes 380SEC. Gold exterior, brown leather interior. Sunroof, power everything (even hands you the seatbelt). I'm the 3rd owner (the second only owning it for about a month), bought the car Thanksgiving 2008. Currently has 155,893 original miles, I drove this to school and back 4 days a week (100~ miles a day) and it's never let me down. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, it cruises along at 80 like nothing. New(-ish) transmission, replaced by the 1st owner (around 50k ago). Timing chains converted to dual-row from single, a major flaw in the early 380s. Had a broken CD player in it that was taken out, wiring is still intact and the stock speakers all work fine. Repainted a number of years ago, still looks good, but there are a few chips and blemishes. Rest assured this car has been well taken care of its whole life, going from one 126 enthusiast to the next. Maintenance and fluid changes always done on time. Onto the bad though; right rear window won't roll down past a certain point (motor is fine, window is just slipping of the track), has a tear on the passenger seat along the stitching, HVAC isn't working, and being a northeast car it's entire life (purchased at Prestige Motors) there are spots of rust on the door and quarter panel. Mechanically this car is great, one of the last Mercedes you could work on without needing a degree in computer science. MSRP north of $50,000 in 1983.
