You are looking at an unbelievably nice, 2 owner, Florida based, 1978 Mercedes 450SL Convertible. This car is simply in spectacular condition. The paint is virtually flawless. The leather seats look as if they have never been sat on. Everything works properly with this car. There are not any warning lights on, and there isn't anything that doesn't function the way it is supposed to. All the tires are in great shape too. There are only a few minor flaws that I would like to point out so that whoever gets this car won't be unpleasently surprised. First, there is no hard top for the car. Secondly, there is a very small tear in the top towards the bottom of the top right behind the driver's door. It is very minor, and it is not in a place where it would allow water to come into the car. The last thing that isn't 100% is the wood around the gear shift handle. It doesn't look as nice as it did when it was new. All the rest of the wood is perfect though. We deal with mainly newer, high end German cars. This car was so nice, and so clean, that we just had to get it. It will probably be 10 years before we find another one as nice as this. We also can offer you a super deal on an extended warranty for this car if you are interested. We have been doing this for over 25 years.
