Up For Auction is a 1983 BMW 633csi Coupe Color: Gold. The paint job is dull and there is some exposure from being parked outside for the last two years. Here is the latest information: The car has been started 3-4 times since September 2011, but it has not been driven since then. It has only been started. About 2 1/2 months ago, I had it towed to a BMW shop and was told I could sell the car for about $3k. I listed it on ebay with the best description I could based on my conversations with the mechanic and there was good interest in the car. However, after each person talked to the mechanic, they all lost interest. I am being as honest as possible. Some buyers expected to drive the car across several states "as is" and were advised by the mechanic that the car probably has dry rot on the tires, hoses and needs a full tune up before being driven more than locally. The car has not been detailed or cleaned for the pictures or for the sale. This car was my father's, but he passed away near the end of 2011, so it is time to sell it. The car has had one other owner besides my dad and she was a retired woman who put the first 47,000 miles on the car. My dad bought the car from her around 1992 out in California and has had it ever since. The car was parked outside in the front driveway for the last 2 years and the paint job is dull. My brother dented the front fender about 16 years ago and that was fixed back then. My mom or dad would drive the car periodically on Sunday afternoons or to go out to dinner, but they both had other cars that they drove daily. The car is running and it is currently located at: Bimmer Shops, 7121 JFK Blvd. in Little Rock, Arkansas next to John Miller Tire (bimmershops.com). I live in Florida, so this is an out-of-state sale, but my mom has received title and paperwork from the Arkansas DMV, so we can sell it. The car is still registered in Arkansas. The house in Arkansas has sold, so my mom is living with me temporarily in Florida. Since she is here, it will be easy and quick to make a decision on an offer and there won't be a delay in responding to questions. This car is driveable, but it could use some sprucing up to restore it to its former beauty. The car has not been detailed or cleaned for the pictures/sale.
