I AM SELLING MY ONE OF THE BEST 2000 BMW M5 FULLY LOADED IN PERFECT CONDITION! I am a big fan of the BMW and have owned tens of them over the years. I am also a mechanic who specializes in German cars, so this car is one of my collection. I bought this car on eBay about five years ago and drove it around 3-4 thousand miles only. I have been looking for the black M5, but when I found this one in that color combination I fell in love with it. The car came to me from Alabama and it was not in the perfect condition. The car came with not working audio-radio system ( navigation unit were missing ), with done tires, with missing air filters boxes, it stalls on idle speed ( MAF sensors were bad ), rear power sunshade was broken and battery was dying every morning ( later I found out that sell phone was drawing the battery ). But the price was really good for that unit at that time. I bought it for $15.000. In 2007 it was impassable to find E39 M5 less than $20.000. From the time I bough this car and while I added 3-4 thousand miles on it I have replaced and installed next items: TWO NEW MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS, USED NAVIGATION UNIT, USED REAR POWER SUNSHADE, REAR CUP HOLDER ON ORIGINAL SHELF, NEW DRIVE SHAFT FLEX JOINT, TWO NEW FRONT CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS, USED LOWER ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER, USED AIR FILTER BOXES, TWO NEW AIR FILTERS, NEW SPARK PLUGS, NEW FUEL FILTER, NEW ORIGINAL FRONT BRAKE PADS, FOUR BRAND NEW TIRES, TWO NEW CAM SHAFT SENSORS, USED POWER STEERING PUMP, NEW FRONT CRANK SHAFT SEAL, VANOS SOLENOIDS GASKETS AND O-RINGS KIT, NEW BATTERY, ALL FLUIDS INCLUDING DIFFERENTIAL, TRANSMISSION AND POWER STEERING. Now the car is in absolutely perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition! Also I ordered brand new second key, make a window tinting and installed on it DINAN short trow shifter, rear fog light switch ( available only for European market cars ) and reprogram the general module to allows you close all windows and sun roof from the remote control ( also available only for European market cars ) I don`t really want to list how much money I spend on this car, just want to let you know that the car is well maintain. What is really special in this car? First; of course COLOR COMBINATION! It is defiantly head turner! Second; it has all available option on the year of manufacture!- power windows- power sun roof - power seats- memory driver seat- power mirrors- heated mirrors- power folded mirrors - power adjustable steering column- heated seats- two color leather interior- rain sensor- power locks- factory alarm- immobilizer- xenon lights- headlights washers- navigation system- premium sound system- 6 CD changer- cruise control- tire pressure monitor- ABS with traction control- 8 airbags- multi-functional steering wheel- parking assist system- power rear sunshade- manual rear side sunshades- build in sell phone- folding rear sets- self dimming mirrors Not all M5 comes with parking assist system, power sunshades, build in sell phone and folding down rear seats which is very convenient option! Also I have jack, tire wrench and the same M6 spare tire, originally M5 comes with out spare tire with just the air pump in the trunk. The car comes with original touch up paint, two keys and all maintenance receipts since new! MECHANICAL:The car is absolutely incredible! It's an absolute dream of any BMW fan. The suspension is tide and does not have any noises or plays in joints, alignment was performed about 500 miles ago. The engine runs strong and has full power without any problems. No oil or coolant leaks. The front brake pads almost new, rear brake pads about 30% left, the brakes rotors was replaced right before I bought this car it is looks new and does not have any vibration or pulsation. I did not replaced the clutch but it feels fine. Not any malfunction, warning lamps or lights is illuminated! Only one minor issue is rear left rim was cracked and welded. All systems work like it should from manufacture, just turn the key and drive it anywhere! INTERIOR:The two color leather interior is in absolutely perfect condition! Their is no wear or tear any where! It looks like brand new! Only three things inside can tell you about age or millage of the car: driver floor mat, steering wheel and parking brake handle except this it looks like it just came from the assembly line! EXTERIOR:The body of the car has no dent or scratches anywhere. Only one minor issue is rims has scratches from parallel parking ( see pictures ) All paint is original except front left fender. I replaced and repainted it about two years ago due to my neighbor woman who backed up and bent it. I do have the original fender to prove that the car was not involved in any accidents! I am trying to sell this car local , but no body offers me more than $11.000. Now I list this car here with no reserve, but if in the last day of the auction highest bid will less than $10.000 I will stop the auction! I am not trying get rid of it just planing to buy a house and I also have five more different BMWs that is the reason why I am selling it. Currently car has 130 thousand miles with it, at the moment of sale mileage can be slightly different because I am still driving the car.
