This is a well preserved, well equipped Volvo V70R AWD and is sold with a valid recent (April) Ontario Drive Clean certificate and a valid Ontario Safety Standards Certificate. I am the second owner and have bought a new vehicle. Bring your plates and drive it away! Mileage 122,554 mi or 196,087 km In addition to the complete option list of Volvo equipment - power everything, heated seats, tilt and telescope steering wheel, heated power mirrors, top of the line Volvo sound system, two way power sun-roof, etc; this car has an IPD (TME Sweden) aftermarket dual exhaust system using the additional rear bumper cut-out which Volvo usually covers, this gives a unique look. This exhaust is quiet but also has a pleasant exhaust note. The car also has the IPD aluminum front engine/sump guard plate to protect these expensive pieces. The car is riding on four brand new Borbet 17" X 7" Alloy wheels and 4 brand new Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position 205/45 17 tires,these wheels and tires have less than 1000km on them and are as new. The invoice for these items is included in the picture section. In addition the car comes with the original two sets of Volvo 16" alloys one set with very well used Bridgestone RE-01R summer tires and one set with well used Volvo Nordfrost Snow tires. In addition, the original exhaust system in good usable condition; a Thule roof rack; a set of brand new - in the box R floor mats and a set of winter mats. Body and paint in overall good condition with a normal quota of small chips and scratches as patina for a vehicle of this year and mileage. A repaired stone chip on the passenger side rear door in the shape of a circle, some chips in the front edge of the hood and front panels, some scratches in the front edge of the hood due to a mishap with a sheet of plywood and the roof rack. Rear bumper cover scratched on the top surface; some minor scratches over the doors from the roof rack. Small area of flaking paint over the tailgate latch. Mechanically and electrically sound and completely functional except for the following specific items which are given full disclosure below: Rear drive shaft, air conditioning, power window. Drive shaft: The Volvo tech noted some noise from the area of the bevel gears (transfer case) which drive the rear shaft, I have heard this occasionally and more often in very cold weather. The car is currently operating as front wheel drive only as the rear driveshaft has been removed due to the centre joint and rubber mount having failed. I have driven the car this way for the last three months and it works just fine as a regular V70 except of course it has that very nice R motor. You can drive it this way or repair and re-install the driveshaft. Options for this range from buy a new one from Volvo, get a rebuilt from Colorado Drive Shaft, buy a used but servicable part or find someone to replace the centre u-joint. This type of wear in the four wheel drive system is considered normal for a car of this mileage. Air Conditioning: The system has no charge. Was working at low output. Volvo checked it out last summer and removed the refrigerant - I chose not to follow-up. Power Window: Drivers side rear seat power window does not move. This car has always been professionally maintained and regularly serviced. Recent maintenance items include complete transmission flush - 2011, radiator and hoses - 2011, battery - 2011. If you are looking for a performance wagon to play with or simply a daily driver there is a lot of car left here.
