Offered For Sale by TED DAVIS & SON REBUILDABLES LLC. (Ted & Seth Davis)Please only bid if you have the funds to follow through with the transaction. Some Banks will not finance vehicles with Salvage or Rebuilt Titles. This one has a Rebuildable Salvage Title so it will have to go through an inspection in your state after repairs are made before it can be registered again for the highway. Once again make sure if you win the auction you have the money to pay. We will follow full extent of the new Internet Fraud laws if you bid on one of our vehicles and do not follow through. This has been happening way too often on E-bay lately. We require a $500 Paypal deposit within 48 hours and paid in full within 10 days after auction ends. Also check out others we may have For Sale at this time by clicking on see other items at the top of this page. If that link does not work, go to our feedback and click on Items For Sale. Here we have a 2011 DODGE RAM 5500 QUAD-CAB 4X4 with an 8-ft. flatbed dump and a gooseneck hitch custom built into the subframe of the dump bed. It is a really unique truck that is heavy enough to do some major work with trailers and still versatile enough to use around the farm with round bales, etc. Once you are done working it, you can load the family into the quad cab and go to the movies or hitch up to your camper and go away for the weekend. The possibilities are endless with this type of truck. It is much more capable than a normal pickup. It is a 5500 series which has much more towing capacity and braking than a 3/4 or 1-ton truck. The engine even has the built in engine brake and the transmission has the manual shift mode which holds back much better when towing. As you can see the truck has some major damage. It has frame damage on the right front rail. The suspension mounting arms are bent and the brackets are bent on the front housing where they attach. We assume it was pulling a trailer when the accident occurred because the cab is bent in front of the bed where it looks like a trailer might have jackknifed. The airbags are blown as well. The engine starts right up and sounds great and the transmission drops into gear and will move the truck forward and back, but the suspension is messed up too bad to drive it around. The steering box is also broken. We pulled the front differential forward and chained it and borrowed a tire and rim from the rear so the truck will roll. That way it will be easier to load. It should pull up on a trailer now.It will take a fair amount of work and time to fix this truck but it is very valuable when finished. The insurance company paid the owner over $58,000 for it and we figure it must have been over $70K new so the truck is well worth fixing. It is still like new other than the damage. Even the bed is hardly scratched so it must not have hauled much. The pictures should show everything pretty well, but if you have any questions, please give us a call at 304-567-2999 or e-mail us on the listing. Thanks for looking at our listing and Good Luck bidding. Sincerely, Ted & Seth Davis
