Here we have a 1983 Ford Mustang GLX 5.0L Manual with 52,318 miles. The car is Silver in color with Black vinyl/leather interior. This car is all original except the battery and tires otherwise everything else is the way it came from the factory. I am the second owner the person I bought it from bought it new in 1983 in Illinois. I have owned the car for 6 years now and it hasnt been driven hardle at all and thats why I am selling it. This is the first year back for the convertible since 1973 and the first year with the all new 5.0 with a 5 speed manual from what I have read its 1 of 2500 made in that year and only came in three colors. I have read lots of articles stating these are the next and upcoming collector cars. As far the car the motor runs great is a little cold blooded and the trans and clutch are both in great condition as far as the body there isnt any rust on it at all and looks solid to me there are some scratches in the car and two or three small dings as well as a small dent in the passenger side rear quarter at the bottom otherwise thats about it not much I dont think for a 29 year old car. As far as the black interior it looks great except the seat bottoms are cracked and one is ripped a little and need replacing in the front buckets and the back is cracked a little hard to see. As far as the top it is in good condition with two little spots of wear marks. As far as what I know is wrong with the car it does have AC but isnt working and lines to the heater are cut off assume it needs a heater core there is a T in the lines right now and it needs new weatherstipping around the doors and windows they are dry roted that is all I know thats wrong with it and was like that when I bought it six years ago. Took it for a three hour ride last weekend after taking it out of storage and had no issues what so ever just changed the oil, belt, and battery last week as well. Please let me know if you have any questions or anything I tried to explain everything the best I could I am selling the car in As-Is Condition and would like someone to pick the car up unless other arrangements are made. I also have the car for sale locally so I may end the auction if the car does sell locally unless the reserve is met then I will leave it go. This would be a great car for someone that would like to use it or stick some money into it and make it a classic car in years to come that was what I was going to do but just dont have the time and have probably put less than 1000 miles on it in 5 years these cars are hard to find that are all original. Would prefer pickup and cash on deliver if it has to be shipped buyer to pay for shipping. Have several people ask shipping or sale to USA ONLY.
