As a courtesy to our clients, we set up your vehicle registration right here at the dealer. We can get you set up for new plates or transfer an old one (must be in owner’s name) to your new one. We can also provide you with a 30 day temporary tag while this is being completed. Your registration will be mailed to you directly from us and your title will be mailed to either you or your lender directly from the DMV. All of our title paperwork is processed next business day. Per the state, it may take up to 30 days for you or your lender to receive the title but it may be in less time than that. But expect no longer than 30 days. Should complications arise, we will immediately notify you.Sales tax for out of state residents who ship their vehicle home: we retaining a Bill of Lading from your shipping company and are not required to collect sales tax. You are required to pay your own taxes, title and registration fees for your home state when registering the vehicle.Sales tax for out of state buyers taking delivery of vehicle: If you pick up your vehicle in person at our dealer, we will issue you a 30 day temporary tag but we are required to collect your state’s sales tax. We will collect up to a maximum of 6% of your state’s sales tax. We will provide you with a document stating that you have paid taxes due. Any additional amounts over that are the buyer’s responsibility and will be collected by your home state when registering vehicle and if your states sales tax is below 6%, that lower rate will be collected. Once you pay tax to us, you will not have to pay it again with the exception of a couple states: AR & MS. Any tax collected on their behalf will not be recognized and will be collected again. It is recommended if you live in these states to have the vehicle shipped. Fees: Sailfish Motor Cars never charges a dealer fee. We only charge a minimal processing fee of $179 to help defray the cost for title and other DMV services, vehicle history reports, shipping, vehicle preparation, etc. Processing fee is non-refundable and applies to all customers as well as other dealers. Per the State of FL, it must be stated that this charge represents costs and profit to the dealer for items such as inspecting, cleaning and adjusting vehicles, and preparing documents related to the sale. Florida law mandates that any such fee must be disclosed and included in the final sale price without discrimination. This fee applies to every sale. • This transaction is to be completed within 5 days unless prior arrangements have been made. Fees may apply for any vehicle still remaining on our property after this time.

If transaction is not completed in the allotted time, buyer may risk losing deposit and seller reserves the right to relist the vehicle, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Please have financing ready prior to bidding. Certain banking institutions do not finance vehicles of certain models, years or mileage. Please contact them to verify this before bidding.
• Vehicles will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by us/our local bank.

• *Unfortunately at this time, we do not offer financing. Please have all loans and financing secured PRIOR to bidding. Taxes:

• Sales tax for FL residents: FL state sales tax of 6% plus any applicable county discretionary tax will be applied to final sale price. As a courtesy to our clients, we set up your vehicle registration right here at the dealer. We can get you set up for new plates or transfer an old one (must be in owner’s name) to your new one. We can also provide you with a 30 day temporary tag while this is being completed. Your registration will be mailed to you directly from us and your title will be mailed to either you or your lender directly from the DMV. All of our title paperwork is processed next business day. Per the state, it may take up to 30 days for you or your lender to receive the title but it may be in less time than that. But expect no longer than 30 days. Should complications arise, we will immediately notify you.
• Sales tax for out of state residents who ship their vehicle home: we retaining a Bill of Lading from your shipping company and are not required to collect sales tax. You are required to pay your own taxes, title and registration fees for your home state when registering the vehicle.
• Sales tax for out of state buyers taking delivery of vehicle: If you pick up your vehicle in person at our dealer, we will issue you a 30 day temporary tag but we are required to collect your state’s sales tax. We will collect up to a maximum of 6% of your state’s sales tax. We will provide you with a document stating that you have paid taxes due. Any additional amounts over that are the buyer’s responsibility and will be collected by your home state when registering vehicle and if your states sales tax is below 6%, that lower rate will be collected. Once you pay tax to us, you will not have to pay it again with the exception of a couple states: AR & MS. Any tax collected on their behalf will not be recognized and will be collected again. It is recommended if you live in these states to have the vehicle shipped.

Fees:

• Sailfish Motor Cars never charges a dealer fee. We only charge a minimal processing fee of $179 to help defray the cost for title and other DMV services, vehicle history reports, shipping, vehicle preparation, etc. Processing fee is non-refundable and applies to all customers as well as other dealers. Per the State of FL, it must be stated that this charge represents costs and profit to the dealer for items such as inspecting, cleaning and adjusting vehicles, and preparing documents related to the sale. Florida law mandates that any such fee must be disclosed and included in the final sale price without discrimination. This fee applies to every sale.

Warranty:

• All vehicles sold from our dealership are being sold AS-IS with no representations or warranties being made by the seller.
• A manufacturer’s warranty for the vehicle may still apply but should not be assumed. *The best way to confirm whether a warranty is still active or not is to call a franchise of that particular manufacturer’s service department and ask them. Any manufacturer’s warranty listed by us is found in paperwork or CarFax listings and may not be accurate. Again, please verify warranties with the manufacturer.
• We are not liable for maintenance issues or mechanical failures after the sale of the vehicle.
• eBay may offer extended warranties or protection plans for this vehicle. Please note that this is offered through eBay only. We are not affiliated with them or this or any other offers in any way.
• Again, warranties are neither expressed nor implied. We do not offer extended warranties. A majority of our vehicles sold do come with manufacturer warranties but you should not assume it comes with one. Please always verify warranty coverage. All sales are final.

Shipping/Delivery:

• Buyer is responsible for shipping and shipping charges.
• We will work with the buyer’s choice of shipping company by meeting with them by appointment only at a mutually agreed upon time.
• The shipping company is responsible for the vehicle once it leaves our possession. We are not responsible for any claims arising from shipping damages.
• There is to be no pick up until the buyer’s payment is cleared and/or verified.
• We offer as a courtesy to our valued clients complimentary pickup from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). Please make sure your flight arrives during business hours, unless prearranged with the seller.
• Negative feedback is not to be left for Sailfish Motor Cars due to any shipping delays, issues or damage once vehicle is no longer in our possession. We are not a shipping company, therefore any issues arising from shipping are beyond our control and are not our responsibility.
• If vehicle is being shipped, we require a Bill of Lading from the shipping company when picked up and a copy of the signed delivery receipt when vehicle is received by the buyer.

Inspections:

• Inspections are a great way to help avoid misunderstandings. We not only welcome an inspection before bidding, we recommend them! Please call to set up an appointment for us to meet with your inspector/inspection company at our office. All inspections are done at the bidders cost. Please, all inspections are to be done before bidding and before the auction’s end. Once you bid on the vehicle and win it, it is yours.

Accessories:

• Accessories included with our vehicles are typically included in our many detailed photographs. Bidders should not assume anything is included with the vehicle if not pictured. Please call us at anytime to verify whether an item is with the vehicle or not.
• Items such as owner’s manuals, extra keys, CD changers, floor mats, navigation CDs, maintenance records, etc. are not always included and should not be assumed.
• One key is guaranteed with each vehicle.
