Vehicle Detail
I'm sorry, I had to end this auction and re-list it. TWO REASONS. 1.) I decided that I did not want to sell the wheels and tires that I had originally advertised with the Trailblazer. I swapped them out for a set of wheels and tires that were on a landcruiser project I'm currently working on. 2.) Also, based on a number of questions I had from people I feel it is necessary to clarify that this is NOT JUST A TOYOTA PICKUP WITH A CAMPER SHELL ON IT. This vehicle has an open back end and had a back seat. I dont have the back seat. But this vehicle came with one. It is very similar to an early 4runner. I also want to clarify that this vehicle was pulled out of a barn in Indiana where it had set for more than 10 years according to the previous owner. Its dirty. Its rusty. And its going to take some effort and energy to make it what it needs to be. This is a dirty example of a very rare vehicle. All that said I'm REALLY SORRY for the inconvenience of ending the auction early. This seemed like the most fair way to do it. Below is my original auction description minus the language about the wheels. I'll get some new pics up of the wheels and tires that will come with the toyota trailblazer. Thanks for understanding. .......................... This is a very rare 1982 Toyota Trailblazer. Ebay is making me list it as a 1980 for some reason but the title says it is a 1983. Please Google around if you are unfamiliar with the Trailblazer. Very few were manufactured. I can’t find any official numbers. Very similar to the Toyota Trekker this is a precursor to the 4runner. This particular truck was a barn find in Indiana. I drove 10 hours to pick it up on a trailer and bring it to Arkansas with the intention to restore it and another 1st gen Toyota pickup "black package" (which I will also be listing). I simply don’t have time to get to the projects nor do I have the space to keep the pickups in storage. The motor runs, but I pulled the gas tank off. It was full of muck from sitting in a barn. It’s rusty. The bed is shot, like all trucks from this vintage. It’s dirty, and I have not cleaned it up at all. 126,349 miles showing on the ODO. I don’t know if this is accurate or not. I have not have the truck in drivable condition so I don’t even know if the ODO is working. I bought the truck because of the rareness and collectability of the vehicle. I hope it goes to someone who can appreciate it for what it is and not turn it into a rock crawler. Local pickup in Bentonville, Arkansas only, or buyer to arrange for shipping. I will show the vehicle locally. For More info on this truck GOOGLE "1982 Toyota Trailblazer barn find" and you will find a thread on Yotatech. It shows the truck and me bringing it home along with some discussion. You might alsodo some google searches on the Toyota Trekker. The trekker and the Trailblazer were out at the same time and are very very similar. Both are ultra rare examples of early Toyota 4x4 trucks.
