Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1971 Mustang convertible. I need to sell this car because I am buying a new one (I'll probably regret it) but, it is necessary to have one with a warranty with the miles I will be driving daily. This little Pony is a daily driver (not show quality) but it is solid and not a rust bucket like so many others I have seen. Because of the age of this car in Florida the miles should be considered exempt so, I don't qualify them as being actual however, from the tale tell looks of components on this classic they could be correct. I took good photos of the car and the floorpans are as they are, I didn't clean it and paint it black because I wanted you to see just how good the pans are today, not patched up or covered up with undercoating. The original 302 V-8 engine runs smooth with no knocks or smoke. The transmission shifts just as it should and the car goes down the road well. It has decent paint (not the original color) and it has a new convertible top. The car has original rallye wheels and raised white letter tires that are also in good shape. I would drive this car anywhere. The car has no warranty as you know but if you desired to fly in and drive it home I think it would do well and get you there with no problems. I drive it all over the town I'm from and it has never let me down so what I'm trying to say is, this little car I feel can be counted on and you'll like what you are buying. The only thing I think it needs is some new rubber gaskets around the side windows because some of them over the years have sort of rotted and is missing small pieces. I looked at National Parts Depot and they are not that expensive so with my low reserve a person can still get a good deal even by replacing those. I like to advertise my items on ebay by telling buyers as much as I can so there is no surprises. I've been stung by scammers and don't like it so, if you have questions please feel free to email through ebay messages or call me at (850) 683-1142 or cell, (850) 305-6209. I expect a non refundable $500.00 deposit within 3 days after this auction ends and all remaining funds within 10 days. I will accept cash, cashier's checks, or wire transfers however, the car will not leave my possesion until all funds are accounted for. The buyer is responsible for shipping of this vehicle. I can deliver it for $1.25 per loaded mile within 250 miles of zip code 32536 once the car and the trip is paid for if a buyer needs me to. I appreciate all bids but if you have "O" feedback please call me before bidding or I will cancel the bid. I don't mean to be ugly about my auction but several times buyers have not followed through after purchasing an item and it is just too much trouble to list all over again, I will sell my car to buyers outside the U.S. as well and will take it to port if you wish but the same rules apply about payment. I appreciate you looking and bidding on my Mustang. Good Luck!
