Vehicle Detail
93 Honda Civic Del Sol Si Adult-Owned RestoMod Always a Florida Car (Never titled outside off Lee County) with a Clean Carfax Included. I am only the fourth owner of this car and even with over 200,000 Miles on it, I was just so Impressed that is was all Stock and had no signs of tuning, rust or abuse anywhere. The Targa Top Rubber was Replaced with 95-97 style rubber and is in Very-Good Condition. They changed the quality of rubber and fixed the design a bit. I have Painstakingly spent hours and hours on this car (to my Wife's dismay) to improve it and fix things that weren't quite broken. Every bulb, gauge, switch, cruise and all lights and power windows work. The Ignition was Replaced, both the electrical connecter and the tumbler, nothing loose about it and it is all keyed the same as the rest of the car, and yes they all work. Did I forget to mention that I still have both Original Honda Keys in Good Condition (Including an original Z Top Keychain) and a spare or two, of course. I had it Professionally Repainted (Base Coat-Clear Coat) about 3 Years ago. I chose to keep the Original Samba Green with 96 Ford Mustang Ultra-Violet Accents. I Like the Two-Tone idea for the same reasons bikers do, it is a small car. The Interior is in Very-Good Condition with no rips, bad stains or excessive wear. The Seats in it are from a 97-01 Acura Intergra Type-r and the Driver's side has Lumbar Support and are adjustable front and rear, for comfort. Much more comfortable than the original seats and more money too! The Stereo is a Pioneer DEH-P7000BT (Bluetooth Compatible) with original remote. Front Door Speakers are 6" MTX Marines. Rear Speakers are 6" German-Made MB QUARTS. Improvements Made include 4x100 to 4x108 1" Wheel Adapters. There is a much greater selection for rims with that pattern and I love the Rims on It! These can be Easily removed and sold back on Ebay. It has a Matched set of Bridestone Tires in Good Condition. It does have McGuard Lug Nuts on it now, best money can buy. I have changed the Spare Tire and Lug Wrench to match the current configuration. I have replaced the steering wheel with the best one i could find, look at the pics! I also changed the Airbag and clock spring just to be safe. Both of the Seat Belts have also been replaced off of a 97 Del Sol and retract quite nicely. In the pics you will notice the JDM Sunvisor set ($200 on Ebay) which has a more traditional setup than the stock U.S. ones. I also Purchased New JDM Style Door Handles which are Black, not grey and include Map Lights. These use rods and not cables, therefore much more reliable too ($200 on Ebay). Notice Also the Ultra-Rare Hard Plastic door covers which keep you door vinyl from sagging. I never much liked the Civic style shift-knob and replaced mine with a Good Condition Prelude Handle, more ergonomic. The Plastic threaded Targa Top handles tend to crack in time, mine are less than a year old, Bought from the Honda Dealer. It does have a Spoon sports V-Tec Controller I got to great a deal to pass up on. The Nice Part of this one is that it has Plugs on both ends, no need to Hack into your factory wiring harness. It is Easily removed and Fully-Adjustabler with a Green L.E.D. when the V-Tec is engaged. I Almost forgot the Fourth Brake-Light I addes on the bottom of the Rear. As all Del Sol's have a Trailer harness and I had a third brake light from a hatchback, So Much The Safer. This is also Easily removed and not Permantly Installed. Only thing it was missing was the Catalytic Converter, being in Florida I nver got around to fixing it. These are $30 on Ebay and not hard to Install. Motor is a Professional Rebuild combining a D15Z1 Bottom and Transmission to a D15B JDM V-Tec Top! With the Internals redone. Found some of the receipts including the new Crankshaft and Gaskets put in it. Only put Pacesetter Headers and Neuspeed top strut bar on it cause it was cheaper than buying a Dorman Manifold made in China ( I got a Great Deal). This was made to be Reliable and Safe and has no Motor Noise or Nasty Puddles. The Transmission is Tall and Tough and allows you to go 60MPH at only 2,00RPM, saving Gas Money!
