While tooling along the parkway heading off for an oil change, the ghia caught fire. Despite efforts by the fire dept, the car was totaling engulfed. It has a good frame, tires, wheel, heater boxes, transmission and clutch to mention some items. Might be a good platform for a dune buggy or possibly other parts, the hood and trunk lid were damaged by the FD, holes in them and bent, the doors are burnt inside and out, but sanding might bring them to a paintable condition. It's towable and the purchaser must arrange to remove it at their own expense within 10 days from purchase. I will assist in any way I can in the efforts. One headlight and the rim around it has been removed since the photos were taken. Basically, what you see is what's left. Please make sure you have a use for it before bidding, the sale is final.
