1999 Ford Contour Sport 77k One Owner 2.5L V6 24 Valve DOHC I personally purchased this vehicle in 1999 and have been the sole owner since. For the past 5 years it has been used exclusively for M-F commuting to and from the train station, a round trip of 12 per day. The vehicle is in good condition, mechanically and visually, with only minor scratches and dings expected in a vehicle of this vintage. A small inset that covers the point for jacking the vehicle has fallen off. The dash curled badly in the So California sun and has been riveted down to prevent a recurance. This is barely visable in one picture below. Tires have essentially no tread since I did not want to replace them if I couldn't get it registered. (see below) FULL DISCLOSURE: The vehicle currently has a "Planned Non-operation" certificate in lieu of registration. The "check engine" light is on and I have been unable to get a necessary smog certificate for California operation/registration. The check engine light has been reset by various mechanics, including the one who has worked on it for the past 10 years, but it comes back on within 20-25 miles.
