Here is a 1968 Mustang Convertible Shelby Clone. This car was originally yellow and now is blue in color. The paint has some of the clear coat peeling off and has minimal blisters as seen in pics. If I was to keep it I would re-paint it red. The body is very straight. The whole front end has been rebuilt( I mean new upper and lower A arms and all new bushings) and a new disc brake set-up for the front-end was installed. I am planning on taking it in this week to have a front end alignment done. The frame rails and floors are nice. You can see in the pics on the drivers side back floor was done many years ago,still looks decent. The trunk area is nice and a new gas tank was installed. The interior is very nice, they installed Mach 1 front seats,which are very comfortable, I also have the cover for the back seat needing to be installed. I also have the original front seats but I am missing one of the bottom cushions. An aftermarket AC system was added and works very well. This car also has power steering. The convertible top is a power top and is in very nice condition. The windows roll up and down with ease and the door panels and carpet are nice. A cobra steering wheel was added,but I also have the original one. A nice cobra shifter was added along with a aftermarket console. The motor and transmission were rebuilt,in which I have the receipts for them, They have about 16,000 miles since being rebuilt. I have a folder full of receipts. The motor is a 289 and runs out very nice.The rear and side panels were added for the Shelby look,the trunk lid is fiberglass and the paint shows a different shade of blue, Like I said,if I were to keep it I would repaint it to red. I also have the original trunk lid.
