Not many of these left anymore, let alone in awesome 1 owner condition!! Here's the kbb.com Private Party Value on the car. I'd say this car is easily in Fair to Good condition. Tired of driving the minivan and need a family toy?? Need a quality 2nd car? Here's the answer!! This SHO is in superb condition considering it's age and mileage. Super nice enough that you'll love hitting the car wash and going out for a night. Cheap enough that you won't cringe when the neighbor kid's bike or shopping cart dings your door! When's the last time you saw an SHO with clean and clear headlight lenses? Minimal rock chips and no damage on the bumper cover and hood?? Continue enjoying my 30+ pics below and you will! Absolutely no front bumper cover damages. I'm not a fan of the Firestone Firehawks because they tend to be a bit noisy, these no different. But they are nearly new tires on damage free vibration free chrome rims! Honestly, with it's age and miles, whens the last time you saw these factory chrome wheels without peeling or corrosion?!? These wheels look to be nearly 99% gorgeous!! With only a few hard to find blemishes, there is absolutley nothing big enough to snag your towel while wiping off for a mirror shine!! The shine on the car is still amazing. Like a mirror. I'm not a red fan but I love love love this burgundy garnet color. Sunroof operates properly and perfectly. I can count on one hand how many dings are on the entire car. Yes, there are some, but very little and if you choose, easily dentbusted. The rear bumpercover is even nicer than the front. Minimal scuffs with zero damages, crack, or holes. Note the perfect factory exhaust tips. Below you can see one of the rot spots on the car. Considering it's 16year age living in the midwest rustbelt, I think it's minimal and typical. Below you can see signs of bubbling but amazingly, there aren't any issues under the trunklid itself. Odd. I'm no bodyman, but I can see signs of a minor right rear quarter repair/repaint. Paint matches perfectly tho. And.....finally the LAST area of rot....sad but true. You didn't even see it with the door closed tho, did you?? Remember, this is a nice driver, not a show car. I personally think it's worth fixing since it's all potentially hidden. There is no damage to the ground effect skirts. Again, this is typical Taurus rot...and pretty small considering 16years and 135k. No matter how you look at it, someone genuinely took care of this car. You will see that when you set eyes on your new purchase and during your drive home! The interior is a 9.5 out of 10 all day long. The ONLY thing I can mention is the cupholder is stuck it's it parked position. That's it! Leather is perfect. Absolutely ZERO holes, cuts, rips, tears or even wear on it to be found! The driver's bolster is unworn and undamaged. You can literally eat off the carpet. The steering wheel is barely worn. If I sat you down in the car without seeing the odometer, you'd thingk 50k car. ALL power items work like windows, locks, keyless kepad both exterior and handheld, cruise, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, passenger makeup mirror, sunroof(doesn't leak a drop), heated exterior power mirrors, power seats, power antenna (works!?)....the car even came with the multi-disc CD CHANGER in the trunk! Every option that I know of, is in this car! I hate smoke and there is zero sign of any smoker leftovers in here. Even the ashtray is spotless. ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup with none on during run. No lights came on during my 100+ miles. I drive EVERY car I sell for at least 100miles to ensure it's reliability for you. This car is pure fun to drive. That V8 growl is beautiful yet not killing your wallet in gas when you push the fun pedal to the floor. Yes those floormats are nearly perfect as well. No coffee stains or gum stuck to them. No signs of kids crayons or mudstains. Changer is complete including the disc cartridge. Unseen is the complete intact spare tire/jack setup. Aired up and ready for your trip home! Factory books and wheel lock key are included. Also only one key and one working keyfob are included. Receipt underneath from early May 2012 displays some recent brake service(new lines, fluids, etc). The brakes are 100% front to back. Looks to be new pads and rotors along with the receipt items. The car will stop on a dime and throw you thru the windshield if needed! Below you can see the engine compartment is clean enough to eat off of as well. The unmolested engine fires right up and runs perfectly cold or hot. No overheating. No noises or rattles. It is super strong and pulls all the way to redline. Transmission shifts as it should. Recent looking Interstate battery is strong. Amazingly, no signs of any oil or coolant leaks! No spots on my shop floor or anything found during my inspection. What I DID find was new front end parts! The car drives straight and smooth with no pulling or wandering or vibrating even at 80mph. New lower ball joints and what feels to be a fresh alignment...considering the recent tires and the car drives perfectly straight with no uneven wear on the tires. My shop drive is riddled with small potholes and I did "feel" a light tapping in the steering wheel. Upon my inspection I found it was typical steering rack play as no inner or outer tierod ends were loose. No, the rack isn't bad or leaking. No there isn't any "slop" in the front end. I'm only nitpicking as I know these cars are known for eating up balljoints and rod ends. You probably wouldn't have noticed until I mentioned it. I disclose everything as if you were here with me looking at the car. But no worries...it's justlikenew2u!! I have NOTHING bad to say about this car. Fun factor scale is always high when you drive a nice SHO. Aside the rust areas on the exterior, and the stuck cupholder in the interior that I mentioned above, there is only ONE issue I can nitpick. There is a tiny exhaust puff at the flexpipe under the car. Typical age fatigue on these cars. It's super cheap to fix but I just don't have the time to run and get it done. Hence the NO RESERVE!!
