Rebuilt, dual 2'' SU carburetors and overdrive transmission. This car has been in one family since new. The car was always garage kept. I purchased the car from an elderly lady that was the driver of this car for many years. She told me she did not want to part with it, but did not want to see it just sit in the garage anymore. She was getting too old to drive. Before her, it was a close family member who was the only other driver of this car. The car is in very good running and driving condition. Motor sounds great. I just had her tuned up, and all fluids replaced. A top specialist and a professional mechanic who's been specializing in working on classic British cars for over 30 years serviced the car, in Marin County, California. I had him put the car on a lift and look at the underside. The frame is straight. He said not many are around that are this nice. She has solid floor pans, trunk pan, body and underside. He said it all looks very good. He also checked the brakes, motor, transmission, rear end, steering, suspension, clutch and took it out for a test drive. He stated it runs, drives and sound's great. His opinion was that the car is nice and solid, and is a car that is ready to drive and have fun with. His assessment was also written on the invoice, from the recent servicing. As stated, the vehicle’s condition is a nice older restoration. Body and underside are in great condition, for her age, and is rust free. Old English white paint is in good condition. It has a nice shine. She has a few, very small chip's, in the chrome. The trim is all in great condition. All the glass is in good condition. The interior is original and is in good condition, for it's age. The soft top is in like new condition.
