Excellent deals are available especially from me as I specialize in them. As I always say "there's a reason it made it to that point, someone took care of it". This car no exception. This car is truly in excellent condition! I absolutely love driving this car, even with my 6 foot height, I fit in it nicely. The exterior is easily a 9 out of 10. Minimal rock chips up front. No signs of ANY bodywork or repairs. ALL of the covetted BMW VIN tags are still intact on every body panel. I can barely count on one hand how many dings there are on the car, no dents and of course, zero visible rust. Not even a rust bubble. Driving lights work and even the headlights are clean and clear! Nearly new matching Falkens on every corner ride on vibration free rims. The car drives smooth and straight with only a random pull based on my crappy roads in the area...the car tends to track like a train in these truck ruts in construction areas. Zero suspension noises or squeaks. Top is visibly near perfect in every way. No cuts, tears, holes or patches. Rear window has only a few dull swirl scratches from cleaning over the years but is plenty clear. Under washing, the top doesn't leak a drop. But....of course a car with this age and miles will show an issue....the top does not operate, at least to my knowledge. Sorry...but I know absolutely nothing about these systems, only that they made manual and automatic versions. I was told there is an arm to disconnect in the trunk and it will allow for manual operation. I personally would just spend the time to pinpoint the issue and fix it! With all the available parts options on Ebay, you should easily be able to find what you need. Don't forget...ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING works perfectly on this car...as do the windows. And amazingly the car is super quiet considering it's a convertible. Oh...did I mention..NO RESERVE!? My loss your gain! Another thing I NEED to point out...the rear bumper cover...it's nearly perfect!! I'm no bodyman, but if it was repainted, it matches perfectly! Minimal if any scuffs, scratches, anything! I hate to say all highway miles but I have no other explanation on why this car looks as young and unabused as it does! Below is about the only body damage(??) I can point out...right front corner has a 4inch scratch, a couple chips and lower corner has a parking block scrape. Again, no holes or cracks in the nose cover. Get some matching touchup paint and it's history. The interior is superb! Easily a 9 out of 10 here as well. Only the doors show the typical vinyl seperation around the door handle. Usual middle armrest wear. But absolutely ZERO driver's seat bolster wear, holes, or cuts!! In fact, the seats are so nice, you'd think the car has 50k! No, they don't seem to be re-dyed either. You can usually tell by looking at the stitched portions of the seats. Not here. Roof liner isn't sagging or flapping around like most. Below you can see ALL the dummy lights illuminate during startup and NONE on during run. Climate control panel works perfectly. Windows and locks operate as they should. Even the little window "bump" during opening and closing of the doors work properly. Power seats operate as they should. Don't forget the heated seats! ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING works perfectly. Info panel works with no pixels missing. Info panel calls for a "check coolant" but the coolant is full and the car doesn't overheat. Typical for the sensor act up on these cars. I'd just pull the overflow tank and clean the sensor since it's sits at the bottom. Easy. I just don't have the time to perform this task. Also, the Pioneer CD player that is installed does not work. Doesn't light up. Nothing. For $40 I can provide you with and nice used Pioneer CD player with detachable faceplate. Rear seats look like they've never been sat on. Universal floormat set is included. The complete spare setup is intact. Factory BMW manuals and only one key are included. The engine compartment is clean enough to eat off of! Engine is probably due for some spark plugs as during cold startups, the engine fires right up but hesitates. A quick tap of the gas pedal and it goes away. It doesn't die and it's very minor. I disclose everything I know and now you know. I just didn't have time to pull the covers and coils to check the plugs. The engine is strong and smooth. No smoking or burning of anything. Transmission shifts as it should. Brakes are strong with no grinding or pulsing. No major oil or coolant leaks. Doesn't leave any spots on my shop floor.
