You are looking at a 2002 VW Golf GLS TDI with 181,000 miles on it. Anyone who knows these VW diesel motors know that they can go well over 200K with out any trouble. The best part about these cars is the amazing fuel mileage. These diesel motors typically get somewhere in the 40's which is better then most hybrids! This Golf starts right up and runs perfectly smooth. I would feel confident driving this car anywhere, in fact I will be taking it on a 5 hour round trip to New Hampshire tomorrow. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Look at how clean this car looks. The ski racks give this car a great sporty look to it. There are some typical dings and scratches here and there, this is usual wear and tear from daily driving. The worst spot I could find on the car was where the rear driver side quarter panel meets the bumper, there is a small dent with some paint scrapped off (pictured). The interior could use a really good cleaning. There are some stains here and there on the headliner and the carpet. The rear head rests are missing. The brakes probably need to be done soon. The power windows, power locks, and power roof all work perfectly. The A/C (which is very important in the summer) blows ice cold. The windshield has a crack in it as well, I tried to get a decent picture of it. Overall, this is a great running and great looking car that gets incredible MPG's. It is ready to go anywhere.
