Up for auction is a sprightly 1999 5-speed manual transmission Mazda Miata in dazzling Red. The car is running great, and has just had new front and rear disk brakes installed. Additionally, the entire engine was recently replaced after a failure of the oil pump. The replacement engine had approx 79k miles on it when it was installed; so around 80k now. The odometer may have a few more miles on it at auction close as I'm still driving it occasionally. This car gets great gas mileage and is a blast to drive. The shocks and wheels were replaced by the previous owner at around 140,000 miles with 3rd party performance equipment, including 949 racing wheels and Yokohama tires, with plenty of tread depth left on them. The paint job is very new as well with just a few scratches or blemishes. I replaced the battery just recently as well. The A/C blows nice and cool, and was just serviced last year, perfect for when you don't want to have the top down. Other features of the car include a replacement glass rear window with integrated defroster element for when you need to drive the car in the winter, a Nardi Torino replacement leather steering wheel, custom gearbox with low-ratio 5th gear for great MPG during highway cruising, and a third party head unit with removable faceplate and AUX in jack that matches the car's interior styling.
