You are looking at a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan S IMS Rampvan. This Van has the lowered floor, power passenger side slider, automatic kneel, and fold down ramp for wheel chair access. This Caravan starts right up and runs great. The engine runs smooth without any noises or strange smells. The transmission shifts perfectly through all gears without any issues. The A/C blows cold and heat works well. All of the power options seem to work great. This van is now 12 years old so there are various dings and dents here and there. It would be considered normal wear and tear. Another sign of age would be the slightly stained carpet. It might clean up with a steam cleaner. The Bad: *There is rust on both sides of the van on the rear fender. The rust is located where the back of the passenger slider meets the rear quarter panel. It is rusted completely through, and is like this on both sides of the van. Both locations of the rust are clearly visible in the pictures provided. This rust does not affect the stability of the van in any way. It could probably be ground down, filled, sanded, and painted pretty easily. *There is a problem with the power ramp system. The power slider only works on occasion. When it does work, the kneel works perfectly(has a brand new chain). I would assume that the door sensors need to be adjusted, but I am not sure. The ramp has never worked. I have absolutely no clue why. This van can still be used on a regular basis due to the manual feature. The door can be opened manually and the ramp can be manually lowered. Overall this van is in great condition. With a little TLC this could be a great Caravan. I have seen these sell for between $8000-$12,000, so I priced the "Buy It Now" accordingly. The van is available to be seen anytime on Monday - Friday 9:30-5:00, and Saturday 9:30-2:00.
