1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator* Convertible. Original M code 351W M code engine, still putting out over 250 HP, with original 4 barrel Autolite Carburetor. Original FMX automatic transmission. Original AC car with compressor (not hooked up). *Recent restoration to Eliminator specs and appearance package- (a 1969 Eliminator Convertible was never offered) included new paint, new rims and tires, new exhaust, new shocks, new leafs, new brakes, new steering box, new MSD ignition to name a few. Has the FoMoCo AM/FM Stereo. Convertible top looks almost new, and goes up and down with ease. Hideaway headlights work perfect as do the rear sequentials. Excellent running car and is a real head turner at ALL car shows. It is always the only one on display. 1st year for the Cougar Convertible with only 2500 being produced, so this is a rare car to begin with. Not an F code engine- Not an H code engine- But a TRUE "born with" ORIGINAL M code engine. How many 351 M codes are left? How many automatics? How many non-XR7's?
