History of this pontoon boat: My husband and I purchased this boat from the original first owner of this pontoon at Lake Oconee (Georgia Freshwater Lake) in 2007. The original owner was an older gentleman that purchased this boat new at Augusta Marine (Augusta, GA) in 2004. He brought this boat straight to the dry dock storage facility at Port Armor on Lake Oconee. He kept the boat in the covered dry storage and they would put the boat in and out of the lake as he needed since he did not live on the water. Therefore this boat was not left in the water at a dock. He purchased this boat for his grandchildren but since then they lost interest in going out on the lake so he sold the boat to us. Since 2007, we have only used this boat on Lake Lanier (Georgia Freshwater Lake) since we only live approximately 45 minutes away from Lake Lanier. This boat has never been out of the State of Georgia and has never been in the Saltwater. We purchased this boat to take our kids on the lake and have enjoyed it for 6 years and now our kids have lost interest and play on a year round Soccer team. We also just had a baby in December 2011 (5 months old) so we will not have the time or money to use the boat, therefore, we decided to sell it to someone who will enjoy it as much as we have. Maintenance History: The original owner stated that since new this boat was serviced and winterized by the Marina at the dry dock where he stored the boat. Since 2007, we have used our local mechanic to service and winterize the boat each season. At the end of the 2011 season, we had problems with the starter and the mechanic just put on a brand new starter, new NGK spark plugs and removed/cleaned the carburetors just before we listed the boat for sale to ensure to that everything was working properly prior to selling it. This motor fires right up and runs great. The only thing you will need is a new battery since the old battery will only hold a charge for a few days. The State of Georgia does not transfer boat titles so you will receive a Notarized Bill of Sale and current Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources (DNR) Boat Registration valid until 2015 so you can file the change of registration/ownership.
