Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Get ready because you're gonna love this Bronco! This is a very solid 1974 Ford Bronco that has undergone a painstaking reconditioning. Odometer currently shows over 92,000 miles which I believe to be total original miles. The Bronco has only had 3 owners since new and I still have the owners manual to it. It runs and drives very easily. I can drive this with my thumb on the steering wheel with the power steering, relax, and enjoy the drive. I took it on an 800 mile drive this Spring with no issues. I took a photo of the speedo to show what this baby can do! It has current tags. Currently registered in Alaska, as the Bronco almost moved there but then it was decided to list it for sale, rather than move it north. It's hard to let it go, as I had plans to take it to Yosemite this summer, and maybe see some gold mines on the way. ENGINE: Ford 302 V-8, REBUILT WITH LESS THAN 3,000 MILES. OEM style 2 barrel carburetor. New/Rebuilt Electronic Ignition Distributor (Duraspark). Alternator replaced, Battery replaced, Voltage Regulator replaced. Upper radiator hose TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE: Automatic C-4 transmission that shifts very well. I believe it was rebuilt some time ago, but don’t remember the exact details. It has a shift kit to firm it up and it feels very solid and strong. SUSPENSION / AXLES: Front end is Dana 44, with 3.50 Gearing. Rear axle is 3.50 Gearing, “9 inch differential.” There is no lift kit on this Bronco. It has the stock coil spring suspension in front and leaf springs in the rear. EXTERIOR: The Bronco has been repainted this Spring and is quite a sight to behold. It was painted in an original 1974 Bronco color, Ford Motor Company’s LIMESTONE GREEN METALLIC. It was done with urethane basecoat, clearcoat and has been fully sanded and polished out, a QUALITY paint job. Many people approach the Bronco when I drive it, showing interest. The color is exceptional and has a very vintage look. You could take this to shows for sure. The top was painted white with clearcoat also. Hardtop is in nice shape! The tire rack was painted white. The floors inside were painted black with truck bed liner and they look like new! Engine bay was done in black. The doors open and close very nicely. The front floor pans are new. They have been welded / replaced with the original style metal contoured parts. New chrome bumper. Rear fiberglass flares painted in same color with new rubber insulation. This Bronco came with the Bronco Sport package from the factory. Build date was 11/73 It has the rare side moldings and chrome trim. Windows roll nicely up and down and the vent windows close with the original latches. INTERIOR: Recovered original equipment seats, new fabric front and rear as of this spring. I had these seats done in the closest materials that I could find to match what came in it originally. The front passenger seat has the floor hook with the release lever so that you can lift and tumble the seat forward. The armrests are new. The headliner is still in the hardtop, as are the plastic interior wiper motor control cover and original visors. The dash looks nice and the heater blower works. Wipers work, the squirter works too for the wipe/wash. The gauges work, although the fuel reads that it is lower than it actually is. At night, the gauge cluster lights up with a pull of the headlight switch. A turn to the left with the switch turns on the dome lamp. Original horn ring and the horn is in working order. STEERING / BRAKES: Original power steering is in the Bronco and it is very sensitive. It will turn on a dime and just the slightest touch of the wheel will point you where you want to go. The brakes have newly been upgraded to power brakes, a big improvement over non power. OTHER: Tires are relatively new radials with about 5,000 miles on them as I recall. The spare tire is there, mounted on the rear tire rack. Lights are in working order, the dash lights work and the interior 'dome' lamp operates as well. The signal lights work, headlights and tail as well. Hazard lights work. Dual fuel tanks from the factory. I never used the front but was told it works. The exhaust is dual and both pipes come out from behind the rear bumper. There is a towing hitch mounted below the rear bumper. The glass is not cracked anywhere on the bronco. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/transportation costs. I can have it shipped right to your doorstep if needed. I will make my schedule flexible for pickup of the Bronco when needed, and assist in loading. A $500.00 payment for a deposit must be received within 24 hours after the auction closes with PAY PAL. The deposit is NON-Refundable. Cash is always welcomed. The remainder of payment for the Bronco must be a wire transfer to my bank, or cash in person, within 3 to 5 days after auction closes. I will not release the Bronco or title until paid in full. Bronco must be picked up within three weeks after auction closes. I have a great track record on Ebay with 100% feedback rate, I feel I do good honest business. Good luck, and happy bidding! I have this Bronco for sale locally, so I reserve the right to stop the auction before it ends. No warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied on this vehicle, it is sold as is. It is a 38 year old vehicle, but does run and drive nice as described in the above info.
