We purchased this truck because of how clean it is, and planned on using it to replace our Dodge Ram Diesel. We were able to fix the transmission on the Dodge, so we won't have much use for the Ford now. We purchased this truck locally off of the third owner. It's in very nice shape considering the age and has many new parts. The exterior is beautiful. The paint shines excellent with no fading. There aren't any scratches, dents, or dings to mention that are out of the ordinary. It's cleaner than most trucks of this age. As pictured it does have a couple very small rust spots that have just started. They are on the fender and bedside and are barely noticeable. The truck looks great when it's clean. The polished running boards, chrome bumpers, and alloy wheels dressed it up. The interior is just about perfect. The carpets, seats, dashboard, headliner, and glass really don't have any wear to mention. It was definitely a non-smoker truck with no burns or smells. It goes 100% straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls. There aren't any clunks or unusual noises. The transmission shifts absolutely like new. Every single thing on the truck works as it should including the AC, with the exception of the temperature gauge. It may be something as simple as a coolant temp sensor from the research i've done. We just installed brand new front brake pads, rotors, and calipers. The brakes stop perfectly, but there is some air in the rear lines that might need to be bled out, so the pedal is a little soft unless pumped once. The front steer tires have decent tread remaining, but the rear Hercules Terra Trac tires are just about brand new as you can see in pictures! The truck doesn't leak anything and the undercarriage is in good shape. The frame is completely solid. It starts instantly every time with no smoke, even if it sits for a few days. I wouldn't think twice about driving this truck hours away. It would make a great tow vehicle for someone. It has 3.55 gears and cruises down the highway effortlessly. This truck has the heaviest duty GVWR of 8800LBS. I have the owners manuals with case, the full size spare tire, jack, tools, and a clean/clear title in hand!
