1966 Mercury Comet Caliente 2 door coupe. Almost rust free California car. 289 V8 with c4 transmission. The car has been sitting for a few years. Replaced fuel pump, fuel sending unit, and added a battery. The car starts up and runs smooth. This car has a complete interior that is surpisingly nice for a 46 year old car. All door panels and interior chrome is intact. All chrome is there except a few letters and some of the grille trim. Carpet is faded and has some damage to the front left of vehicle. Make sure you look at all the pictures. The gas tank is bad and leaks, replacement will be necessary. The trunk key lock is in glovebox, because I dont have the trunk key. The only rust I have found is on the driver and passenger side underneath as shown in the pictures. This could be made into a daily driver with the replacement parts for the front left, or a fantastic restoration project with a complete car. Take a good look at the pictures and I can send specific pictures of other areas you might want to see. Includes California black plates. The car has not been registered for 8 years. A $250 deposit to Paypal within 24 hours of auction ending. The rest can be cash or a certified check from a U.S. Bank and and will have to clear the bank before the car can be picked up.
