You are bidding on a 1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner convertible. Same owner for more than 49 years, with complete detailed maintenance records. This is a southern California black plate car located in Los Angeles. This car belonged to my uncle so I have no first hand knowledge of its history other than his records. Body is straight and appears solid with one spot of minor rust through at right rocker panel below passenger door and a quarter size hole below rear license plate. All exterior chrome is intact and straight. I have not put up the convertible top; however it appears complete and intact. The right rear quarter window glass is cracked. The engine is in the car but it has been partially disassembled. The heads are in the car and I think the intake manifold and carb are with it as well. Automatic transmission is missing; however drive shaft and an extra differential are included. There are several big block ford heads and blocks that the buyer can have with the car if they are able to pick them up. Please feel free to contact me with questions.
