ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED 1969 VW BEETLE BUG! HIGH BIDDER WINS IT NO MATTER THE PRICE!! Only a three day auction! I bought this car about five or six years ago in Oklahoma (where I still live). The original owner had bought it new, and then parked it three years later and it sat there until I bought it. It was covered in moss, which actually preserved the original paint (still has that original paint). I sent the car to Seattle (where it is now, DuPont to be exact) when he moved up there. He drove it as a daily driver for three years or so, until he bought is new car. It has been sitting at his house with just occasional use since then. The car is all original except wear items. The tires are pretty new. Brakes have been replaced since the originals but are now a little grabby (He thinks they just need adjusted). The car will fire up and drive away. You could use it as a restoration or just drive around as is. The interior is rough, as it is original and forty years old, but it's there. The outside is solid, just a few little dings, and the paint has a sweet faded patina look. The motor has been worked on, and is easy to work on in the future. No known major mechanical issues as at all, just a sweet old car. If it doesn't sell (winner or second chance offers) I will just ship it back to Oklahoma and cruise around and smoke stogies in it. If I think you're a serious buyer I will arrange to have him meet you in DuPont and let you check it out, which I encourage you to do before buying. You will get an Oklahoma Notarized title, and that and the car will be traded for cash. No trades or financing or any sort of checks or money orders. Please keep in mind this is a good deal for what this car is, but it is a forty year old car that is basically original, so know what you're getting! A new interior would make it great, new door seals, maybe even a new motor since they are so affordable. Could be a cool rat rod! This car will fire up and drive around just fine! It has been worked on and any issues that have come up have been taken care of by a local german auto shop, Too Quicks, which is pretty known around there for what they do.
