Great Mercedes 230e sedan. VIN WDB1232231A169702. I've used this as my daily driver for two years and it's never let me down. Nice NO RUST body. When I say no rust I mean no rust. New fuel pump and rear shocks. Tires have just 7K on them. Engine is very reliable, it doesn't burn any oil at all. I change the oil and 3000 miles later the level is exactly where it was when I changed the oil! It also doesn't leak any anti freeze or boil it away, level stays where it is all summer and winter. It has an manual AC with compressor installed and and is hooked up. It works when I charge it but it leaks it away after a few weeks. Heat works great and all the vents work well too. Very good on gas, its takes regular with no complaints. It was repainted some years ago, but it still shows very nicely. It has a small ding (pictured) but it doesn't detract from it's niceness. One of the nicest on the streets of New York, most of the other W123s I see are rusty, this one is awesome. Gets lots of looks, not a show car, but a decent driver. It has some creaks and squeaks (I'm they're the front shocks but it handles great) but I've really enjoyed driving this car. Dash has a couple cracks, all instruments work except the clock, driver seat has some crackling, all other seats are very clean with no rips. Wood trim is decent. Radio is the original German radio with shortwave(!). Cigarette lighter works to keep your cell phone charged. Clear NY State title ready for new signature and owner! The diesels are very expensive to buy, and diesel fuel is not cheap. This vehicle is a gasoline powered car european specification car, it's actually faster than a non-turbo diesel by a lot (I've had those too), and regular is a less expensive and goes just as far. And unless you plan on keeping your diesel forever, these four cylinder engines are very robust, strong engines that can also last 300K with regular maintenance. AC and heater is manual with knobs (better that way I think). It has a manual sunroof too (no leaks).
