Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE, whatever the auction ends at, thats what it's selling for. clear title in hand. For sale as-is, where is, 47201. If you need more pictures or want video's taken, just ask. I bought this truck to put a cummins diesel into it. I have owned it for around a month. I believe, originally, it could have been a state truck, as it looks like that orange colored paint is beneath the white. Truck is ready to drive to California, the auto trans shifts 100% perfect. The tires are all good. this truck if ready to work, and haul your crew around too! The worst dent is on the passenger's front door. Not bad. ALL THE ROCKERS and doors are rust free. There isn't any rust through anywhere. EXTREMELY LITTLE RUST, IF ANY, strictly some surface spots here and there on the frame, very little surface stuff beginning to think about coming up on the inner driver's door. GMC non-dually (Single rear wheel) truck. 10x8 foot aluminum flatbed with headache rack built it. This truck could use 3 items (not needed, but it'd be a decent idea if they were done), otherwise it is perfect: seat covers or seats (also, the front seat wants to recline like a recliner sometimes, but never is flat, I just get in the back seat once a week and push the seatrest forward with my feet lol), brake work in front (pulls to the left if you brake hard, caliper likely sticking, not a big deal at all, haven't had the time to investigate yet.), and the ground needs connected on some lights on the flatbed, or perhaps 1 of the marker lights atop the cab needs a new bulb. None of these items will prevent the thing from being driven to californing safey TODAY, I just want you to know the condition of the vehicle. it looks like someone rattle can painted a few spots, fyi, to keep the thing rustless, nothing too bad or that you can see from 5 feet away... Here is a video of the thing running and driving, I am using it as a daily driver, so the 90,075 miles it has on it today will likely increase by 200 miles by the time the auction is up: if you go to youtube, then put "FS: 1998 GMC 3500 TON SRW GAS 5.7L 350 4L80 2wd", you will see a nice video of the truck. I HIGHLY encourage this!!! The SOLE reason I purchased this truck: I like Cummins diesels, and I wanted a Chevy/GMC crew with a Cummins and a 5/6 speed. I happen to have a cummins 4bt 4 cylinder for sale in another fleabay auction, if you stick that 4 cylinder in here, I am confident you would average better than 25 mpg!!! Moreover, in a different auction, I have a 100% complete running, driving 95 dodge 2500 cummins 5 speed truck. If you were to purchase that plus this, you would have 100% of the parts necessary to have the NICEST GMC IN THE COUNTRY!! ONE WITH A 6BT IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, bid to win, ask any questions you have before bidding, sales are final. deposit due via paypal within 24 hours, only click the bid button if you have the $ sitting around in cash and your ready to lay those bills into my hands within a week of the auction's close. If I am paid in full, I am willing to store the vehicle for 1 month. 847-361-6tree87, no calls b4 7am or after 9pm, please don't call me on Saturday morning before noon. ask questions if you have them. On May-01-12 at 11:03:19 PDT, seller added the following information: ask me about how I could deliver this truck to Texas for you, Dallas or Austin, on the CHEAP. -ChrisOn May-04-12 at 13:27:15 PDT, seller added the following information: This is really a dandy vehicle. It runs and drives like NEW. can run 80 miles an hour down the highway and take your hands and legs off the pedals/wheel. it tracks 100% straight. It needs a $40 set of two seat covers from Walmart/Autozone. It doesn't even need that. Seriously, it would make it anywhere you wanted to drive it without issue. It may not have criuse, it may not have power locks and windows, but those items are just opportunities for something to break/malfunction. Mechanical parts are stronger and their longevity is unquestioned. If you'd like to test drive, I encourage it. Call my cell phone number listed above. The auction ends in 24 hours. Have a look at the auction at 5PM on Saturday (eastern time), to see where it's at if your looking to make a deal. I paid $3500 for this truck two-4 weeks ago. I don't need it, thats the only reason I am selling. Without any rust and with only 90k miles on it, this truck has another solid 20 years of life without question. Thanks for you time, Quesitons? please ask. -Chris
