1990 HONDA CIVIC "DX" Carolina Blue HATCHBACK Well maintained car, adult driven 5-Speed and A/C The true mileage is unknown to me as the previous owner installed a new instrument cluster. The Motor was rebuilt aproximately 6500 miles ago (at 16300 Miles). We put in new pistons, rings, bearings, and gaskets from top down. This 1.5 Liter Motor runs excellent. No smoke, no leaks...perfect! No rust or accidents either. Tires are good...new ones were mounted about a year ago. The factory rims were bead-blasted and powder-coated. The 5-speed transmission is also excellent. I get 38mpg highway and 35 city. The following parts I had installed the last 3 months: Wires Belts Plugs Radiator Valve cover gasket All belts replaced incl. timing belt Clutch new props for the rear hatch Bosch Wipers new windshield (last year) Brake Pads Changed oil every 3,5K Everything works on this car except for the water temperature gauge. I think it is the sensor. Paint is original since day one, so you could expect to see some schratches, dings and blemishes after 21 years but still looks fine. The Interior is nice and clean, however the driver's seat left side of the back rest has torn like on most '90 Civics. If this bothers you, I can have it reupholstered for about $150-$175 additional. Will take about a week to do. I can assist with shipping. Or you can also fly in, put your tags on and drive home. I would drive this car to Anchorage and back...without any problems, I am that confident. This is one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. The left axle clicks a little when steering hard but this has never bothered me. The heat and A/C work great. Sony CD-Radio included.
