Vehicle Detail
I bought this car in September of last year. I have found the car to be extremely reliable. I drive this car to work on the interstate at least twice a week. The car can easily cruise at 75 and shifts very smoothly. I would love to keep the car, but I have decided to get married and need something that is a little bit more practical. I consider myself a very honest seller and will be up front and honest in answering any questions. If you would like pictures of specific parts of the car please let me know. Please message me with any questions or concerns. I will also be willing to share my phone number via message if you would prefer to talk on the phone. Overall: 8/10 Body: 8/10. The paint is not perfect, but still looks great. Virtually rust free. There are a few minor blemishes when looking at the car up close. The paint is not an original BMW color. The body has no major dents. All lights (headlights, brights, tail lights, brake lights) on the car work with the exception of the front passenger side safety light on the front right part of the hood. The car is missing one piece of trim on the rear driver's side. This piece can be easily replaced. Engine: 6/10. The engine is not perfect and is a bit dirty. I installed a new fuel valve and had the fan rewired soon after I bought it. It is not currently set up to pass California emissions. I had a BMW mechanic look over it and he said it only needs the air pump to pass emissions. He also gave the engine a look and said that everything looks great and that he didn't see anything that raised any red flags. I bought the air pump, but have not had the chance to have it installed. I will include the air pump in the sale. Interior: 9/10 The interior looks great. It is custom interior that has been done very tastefully. The dash has only a few minor blemishes, no major cracks. All gauges (speedo, temp, oil, gas, odometer) work. The dash emergency brake light will get stuck on every once in a while. Wipers work. Defrost works. Heat works. The sunroof does not currently open. It is stuck in the closed position, but does not leak. The headliner is in great condition. The car also has a very good sounding stereo that allows you to plug in an ipod. Other: The car has a very nice set of bottle cap wheels taken from an E30. The tires are almost brand new. The shocks have lost their color but appear to be bilstein. *I bought the car from the previous owner using the appropriate California paperwork to do a "transfer of title with paperless title". I will also be selling the car using a paperless title. For California residents the paper title will be issued upon passing the emissions inspection. I am willing to share my paperwork with anyone seriously interested in buying the car. **I will not ship this car. I am willing to work with the buyer, but prefer the car to be picked up in person.
