I reserve the right to end the auction early at any time. For sale locally. Now that all that is out of the way.... I have owned this truck for a couple months. I work for Cummins and am a fanatic for 12 valves! THIS TRUCK WILL ROLL COAL. it will pull whatever you hook to it. It has a very robust towing vehicle, or DD with great MPG I will let the pictures/videos do most of the talking... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tedgVOzGYA&feature=youtu.be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XAx69mUYIg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNIWzMZF85Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWU5Y7eONXA&feature=youtu.be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxAItV9t7KY&feature=youtu.be This truck has many miles, but its been loved. It had a manual swapped into it around 40k ago, it had a VELAIR clutch put in at that time. Also at that time, #10 fuel plate installed into the injection pump and the timing was advanced to 14 degrees before TDC. These two are powerful mods, increase torque and HP by over 100 each. With the 4.10 gears, she isn't made to scream at 70 mph at 2400rpm, she is made to cruise at 60mph at 2ooo rpm or even better, run at 1750RPM pulling 20k LBS and getting great economy. This is what the truck needs:-alignment minimum, maybe ball joints? haven't looked, pulls slightly to right3rd gear syncos, if you double clutch, she never grinds, but it is best not to downshift into 3rd gear (go from 4th to 3rd). Always better to just stay in 4th gear or slow down enough to get into 2nd again, double clutch, then 3rd, 4th, etc etc. seamless and easy, or pull the trans and my guy will rebuilt it for 500 out the door, return it to u in a day and a half. -power steering pump to motor interface leaks fluid. needs seal, leaks both PS fluid and oil here.-tires are shot in rear, 15% remaining in front-fuel shutoff solenoid or deal with mechanical, simple way I have it(to replace is $300, I have a wire rigged in dash, pull that out to cutoff engine. Never can fail, plus its free. Keep it that way or spend the $300 and your time on it, your choice)-perhaps more? I have only driven it 1000 miles or so. It is very dependable though, bout it from a friend who had owned it for 80 k miles before then and swapped the trans to 5 speed. Here is what is not included in the sale the topper, personal belongings inside the truck. if you include $80 cash ontop of auction's final price, you may have the white camper top on the truck. Here is what is included:a good running Cummins. Needs nothing to continuing working it as-is, or invest some elbow grease and $ and have a really nice rig again. 4.10s and posi in rear, Dana 70, truck originally had an auto in it, according to the VIN. Power locks, windows, mirrors. Tilt wheel. No cruise. For sale locally, not entertaining offers below 3, thanks anyway, but I will keep it if I don't get that, it doesn't owe me a thing and its been paid for since day1. Do check my other auctions if you like Cummins stuff or Chevy ton trucks. Also have a 69 chevy blazer FS -This all mechanical setup is the quintessential vehicle to get the job done, . I know I will regret letting this one go :(THE SOLE REASON I AM GETTING RID OF IT: I am tired of replacing items around the engine. The engine will last longer than any of us will live, I promise, and I am simply tired of putting my $ into a Dodge. I enjoy me Chevy trucks, so I am gonna do a Cummins swap into one of those... IF YOU LOOK AT THE OTHER AUCTIONS I HAVE, the reason I purchased this truck for $3900 3 months ago: my plan was to install the engine and transmission into one of the 1 ton chevy's I have listed in the other auctions. If you buy one of those (buy two or more vehicles from me), I will take $200 off the top of the auctions listing fee. I was going to rebuild the transmission, adjust the valve lash, replace the power steering pump gasket and any other needed gaskets on front of engine, and install into a CHEVY. PERFECT project on the cheap, cause if you own the Chevy and the Dodge, you need to purchase ZERO to accomplish the swap (strictly time input). You know what a Chevy with a PPump Cummins in it is worth! Plus you'd have the only one in town for sure. A 12 valve motor needs 3 wires to run, starter, ground, alternator, the swap is really simple. Thanks for your interest, GOOD LUCK TO YOU! BTW. if you need more videos/pictures, BEFORE BIDDING, email Block.vt"at"gmail.com with requests, or shoot me a text anytime. AGAIN, questions? call, email, or text me, NP. I have nothing to hide, I encourage a test drive, but let me warm you, after you drive it, you will never ever want to sell it, and the engine will live longer than you if you take care of it like I do. Cummins engines will last well over 1 million miles. Google search the 12 valve with the P7100 pump!. Auction ends 9:30pm eastern time, Sunday night. Don't bid unless you have read all words on page please, and agree.
