2008 FORD ESCAPE XLS (*** FYI - The attached photos have the wrong date on them. The photos were just taken today. I changed the batteries on our digital camera and could not get the date to change...sorry for any confusion. ***)Up for auction today is our 2008 Ford Escape XLS. The only reason we are selling it is because we no longer have any use for it. This is great vehicle...it never gave us a bit of trouble!We purchased it used (with 47,888 miles.) It has been adult-driven only and has been serviced every 5,000 miles (with only full-synthetic motor oil.) We have also had the transmission fluid changed and radiator flushed.There are no fluid leaks or plugs in the tires. The tires are almost brand new Firestone Destination LE, size 235/70/R16.To the best of our knowledge, the vehicle has NEVER been involved in an accident.This vehicle runs perfectly! (Personally, I would not have a worry about driving it from Southwest Florida to Alaska today.) It has been very well maintained and we have complete service/maintenance records and receipts. It is best described as dark slate grey with a beige/brown cloth interior. The windows are tinted and are in complete compliance with Florida law. There are few stone chips and a few light stains on the seat- but nothing that detracts from the car. I would personally consider it to be in far better condition than normal vehicles with the same amount of mileage (and I am a perfectionist when it concerns my vehicles!) We may use the car around town, so the mileage may be slightly higher, but not by much.
