WOW! You don't find trucks this age in this condition and with low mileage very often! I purchased this truck new in July 2000 and it became our family hauler for snowboarding in the winter, and pulling the ski boat to the river in the summer. Eventually the kids went off to college and in 2006 we moved to Florida from Oregon. Since 2006 the truck has spent most if its life inside a storage shed. I still drive it occasionally because it is so much fun, but don’t need it as family hauler now. I knew it made sense to sell it long ago, but it has been hard to part with it. The mileage of 62,945 is correct and the truck has never been wrecked or damaged. It has been 100% reliable and has never broken down once. All of the suspension and performance modifications were made within a couple of weeks of purchasing it new. The exception is the newer style grill and headlights which were done in 2005 to freshen up the appearance. The truck does have some minor chips and dings one would expect on a used vehicle, but nothing to distract from the overall appearance. I do spray paint the undercarriage and have done this a couple of times a year since it was new to keep it looking good. This truck is rock solid and will make a nice reliable vehicle for it’s new owner for years to come. I would not hesitate to drive it cross-country. You could fly in and drive it home from anywhere without issue. I recently had a tune-up done and installed new plugs and wires to keep it running smooth. Maintenance has been performed routinely and I have used Mobile 1 synthetic oil for every oil change since new. I have a folder full of paperwork including the original window sticker. I always get this question when I drive it around town, so I’ll answer it now. The truck gets between 10-12 mpg depending on how you drive it. I always think of it this way: a brand new equivalent truck would cost $45k, and gets 3-5 better mpg. You can buy a lot of fuel with the $30k price difference.
