This is a very worthy restoration project of one of the most notable sportscars of the 50s and 60s the Triumph TR3. This is a complete running and driving car unlike most of the TR3 restoration projects on ebay advertised for more money. Starts right up, good shifting and good brakes. I purchased this from an estate sale that did not have records of work done but it's obvious that a lot of mechanical work was done including the relatively new exhaust system (see pictures). At some time the earlier small mouth front apron was added. There are some areas on the body that need attention. Rockers on both sides need replacement along with the post on at least one side with possibility of patching other side. The floors are solid up to where the top of your feet would touch the angled part of the floor is some rust and the corners of the trunk have a few holes. The spare tire trunk is completely solid. The frame is completely solid as you can see from the pictures. As I mentioned this car is complete and running at this time. Everything is there and everything works including all lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, gauges except the gas gauge(not sure if sending unit or gauge itself) and even the heater works! Even has a working cigarette lighter that could be used for charging your phone, etc. Has very nice tan top and comes with side curtains as you can see in the pictures. Also has a "like new tonneau cover and a new tan boot cover as well! You could very easily enjoy the pleasure of driving this great sports car as you restore it. Actual mileage is unknown.
