Maybe the best 944S you will find anywhere. The car is all original and in excellent condition. Always owned by a Porsche enthusiast, this car has always been garaged. I have a lot of history and service records. The 944S is most desirable of all Porsche 944's with a normally aspirated 190 HP, 4 cylinders and 16 valve engine. This is not the expensive to repair 944 Turbo but nearly as fast and more reliable. The car is a pleasure to drive and turns heads everywhere. The car is in Nashville and I can delver it anywhere in middle Tennessee. I bought this car last year and have put about 2,000 miles on it. It stays in an air conditioned and heated garage next to a 1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet. I have no knowledge of paint or body work and can find no evidence of such. I have the original Blaupunkt radio in a box, an Alpine unit is currently installed. The maintenance records I have indicate an engine rebuild at 37,000 miles by Stuttgart Autotech in Lake Oswego, OR. in July 2001. My guess is cam chain failure. I have had the chain inspected and the engine runs strong., as it should and does not leak. I bought the car out of the Porsche Panorama magazine from a fellow PCA member and had it trailered from Minneapolis to Nashville. The option codes on the decal located at the rear of the trunk read: C02 158 404 454 474 650 946 . I think I am the third owner, not sure. The tires are very good. I have lots of service records and the original manual. I am selling because my oldest is headed to college this fall and I am getting my money ready, but this is not a desperation sale.
