This Saab convertible has a blown head gasket. It ran like a top prior to the head gasket problem. I have had this car for years and it doesn't leak or burn an ounce of oil, shifts flawlessly and I just replaced the clutch and spent $500 on radiator and new hoses. If you can fix the car yourself you can have a nice convertible for summer for cheap. You can pay someone to repair the head gasket or put a used engine in it for a $1000. I have another Saab just like it so I elected not to fix it. The top works great and is in great shape as you can see. There are a few other problems for full disclosure - radio broke and was never replaced, needs a microswitch replaced and I think the fuse for the power seats is blown. Both the seats quit at the same time so I suspect a fuse but never checked it. Car also has the factory security and a key fob as well. The car ran great until the head gasket blew. Never been wrecked.On Apr-15-12 at 16:26:18 PDT, seller added the following information: CORRECTION****** I assume everyone realizes the mileage is not 17,500 but it was supposed to be 175,000!! I didn't realize I made the mistake until just now when someone accused me of lying! That would be stupid of me to put 17,500 on purpose now wouldn't it???? The mileage is not exact but it is in the 170's so I just put 175k. That is close enough for a car this cheap.
