UP FOR SALE WITH LOW RESERVE IS A 1955 DESOTO FIREDOME ONE OF A KIND BEAUTIFUL AFFORDABLE CLASSIC CAR!This rare beast is very similar to a chrysler or dodge of the same year and was top of the line in its day. Power steering and Power brakes were rare at the time but this car has it!It's interior is BEAUTIFUL!!! it's seats, carpet and headliner are in EXCELLENT condition, there are no rips or tears and is comfortable to sit in and ride. The exterior is likewise in excellent and beautiful condition. The paint is brand new and professionally done. the body is very solid. the floorboards are solid and rust free and the frame is very clean and rust free as seen in the pic. Everything works great. It only has 83,000 actual and original vehicle miles and it runs and drives amazing. The original 291ci V8 Hemi is nice and clean, also seen in the pic, and runs great. There is a hairline crack on the rear passenger side window (see picture). it doesn't look bad and is a very light crack and doesn't leak, the window rolls up and down good and so I didn't bother replacing it but can easily be replaced by a glass shop for a cheap price. All in all this is a nice solid car that you can drive around and enjoy as is. the only reason i am selling it is due to retirement.
