Up for sale is a 68 Ford Mustang 2 door coupe. Its equipped with a 289 and automatic transmission. It appears to all be original under the hood. It has a Holley 2 barrel carb and power steering. The car runs and drives well. The brakes and suspension are good. The paint isn't very old on the car and looks pretty good still. It doesn't have any rust bubbles popping out anywere. The vinyl top is in good shape. The windshield does have a small crack around 8 inches long from the top. The door seals and windows leak a little. The radio and interior lights work. The driver's seat back is torn but the rest of the interior is in good shape. The headliner is good. The motor is nice and quiet, no sounds and does not smoke. The paint job is not a high quality job, but looks plenty good for a driver. The trunk looks good inside, only has surface rust from having a mat in it. Under the car has some rust. The floor pans have been patched. The driver's rear frame rail has a rust hole in it and the passenger front subframe has a pretty good size section rusted out. They could both be boxed in. The inner fenders also have some rust holes in them. This is a great looking car and will make a good driver. I'm sure the body has some bondo in it, but I didn't see it before it was painted. If you are one of those picky guys that shows up with a magnet just spend more money and buy something else. This is a cheap old mustang that has a great look to it and will be a good driver.
