Vehicle Detail
I'm giving up this Cruiser reluctantly. That being said i am willing to sell this at a very good price considering i just purchased it. I bought this vehicle for my wife to drive back and forth to work 5 days a week, so as far as the way it runs, it runs flawlessly. unfortunately we have had some unanticipated medical bills, and this is why we are selling. I took it to a buddy of mine who is a full time mechanic of 20 years, and the motor, transmission and all the major mechanics of this suv run great and will run great for many years to come. I bought it from a local dealer who i believe bought it from an auto auction. They are reputable people. Im very careful when spending my hard earned money. I did a carfax on this truck and it was in two minor accidents but nothing major that would effect the value or the performance of it. Also as far as cosmetics, its in GREAT shape and only has minor scratches and just a couple small dings as to be expected for 150,000 mile truck. if anything it has a lot less wear tear scratches and dings than you would think. I took pictures of the front bumper were there is a scratch, and im at a 100% feedback so i tell it like it is.and disclose everything. so bid with confidence because this is going to be a great vehicle for someone, its still got many many miles of life. feel free to email me with any questions. 1997 - 4744 FZJ80 Land Cruisers were sold in the United States as "40th Anniversary Limited Edition" models. this suv has all the add ons it was the $54,000 model new, because of all the extras like two tone leather climate control sunroof, roof rack, running boards towing package all the 40th anniv. badging locking diff. there are no options this model doesn't have. I put half down and am getting ready to give the dealer the other half so i will have the clear title in my hands when that transaction is complete. so whoever wins the auction obviously will receive it from me at the time you purchase. Please serious bidders only. i reserve the right to end the auction early. The only things wrong with this vehicle are pretty common for this model and i planned on fixing them and already priced them. #1 pass. seat track is stuck, easy fix#2 i was going to replace just the bottom part of the leather both the pass. and driver seat due to reg wear the upper part is just fine, also factory defect power antenna, radio and cd still work fine. other than that the cars in great shape. feel free to contact me with any questions @ tatyner76@gmail.comOn Apr-09-12 at 14:28:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm giving up this Cruiser reluctantly. Also I've had a couple questions about the auto locking diff system. I personally don't know a whole lot about this system so i did a little bit of research, and maybe this will help some. I looked online this vehicle does not come with system. All it has is full time all wheel drive and 4 wheel low and high. The auto locking diff according to www.off-road.com on this vehicle is pre wired for this option and all you have to do is buy the switch for around $80 and is apparently very easy to install yourself even if you've never done this before. hopefully this helps. Also the dealer unhooked the factory security system the day i picked it up because someone set it off and they couldn't get it to turn off because they don't have the factory keypads that go with the keys or the instruction manual, which can easily be downloaded right off the internet. All that needs to be done is it just needs to be hooked back up which is no problem. I have yet to do any of this because it has been sitting in my garage with the exception of a couple drives to work and back. The dash lights flicks for about 60 seconds when you 1st start it up and then stops because of this. Again not a big deal. The few times Iv'e driven it i just turn on the lights and it stops. The plus side is they did put a brand new battery in it after the alarm went off because it ran the old one down. Bottom line with very little money this suv would be in mint condition and have zero issues at all. If your interested feel free to double check all this info right online. I did and priced all this stuff out before i bought it and these are very easy and inexpensive fixes. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns i did not answer.
