Vehicle Detail

1997 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. It has a strong running 4.6 liter V8 engine which from the factory puts out about 215 Rear Wheel Horsepower and 285 fp torque. With the mods it's most likely around 240+ hp and well over 300 fp of torque, though I haven't dyno tested it. Automatic Transmission shifts great. Clean interior. This car has some modifications and custom parts. Awesome V8 sound. I'm not kidding. I love the roar of the motor/intake/exhaust, it's deep and racey. About 135,000 miles. Kelly Blue Book Fair Condtion Private Party value for this car is over 4K. My reserve is much lower than that. This car is in fair-good condition. It needs a little work, a little tlc, but not much. Summer's coming and it's a nice drop top GT Mustang. For more details or to come see the car, call Chris at (410) 374-9029 or send an email. This car's been a good daily driver for me. The driver's side rear quarter has some primer where a dent was repaired (the primer is dark gray/black and doesn't stand out too bad). No accidents on the title and the dent was minor. The clear coat is peeling on the front and rear bumpers too. The racing seats should either be re-covered or use seat covers as the red fabric is not in perfect condition. The odometer has stopped at 131k and needs to be repaired (I can point you in the right direction to have it repaired inexpensively). The previous owner says he drove it less than 1,000 miles since the odometer stopped. I haven't put more than 2-3k miles on it. So 135,000 miles is a cautious estimate. I could've fixed it and lied on the title, but I'd rather do things the honest way. The motor has a very small oil leak. I believe it's nothing more that a leaky valve cover gasket. Sounds like the rear calipers are hanging a little but doesn't affect daily driving. The speedometer needs to be recalibrated for the upgraded rear. Passenger seatbelt doesn't want to relaease for some reason. Nothing too serious, just a few minor fixes to have a really nice car, hence the low reserve. I also just noticed today a slight oil leak from the rear dif housing (coming from the gasket). I'm selling locally as well. Please contact me before you bid if you have 0 feedback so I know you're serious. Thanks for looking.
